happy 60th, dads.

This was a really special weekend - my dad celebrated his 60th birthday with more than 40 members of the extended family.

 

Nope you're not seeing double! My dad's twin brother also celebrated his birthday. Heheh. :)


The festivities began early Friday morning. While some worked:



... others just slept.



But generally, everyone was in a pleasant mood.



Case in point: my four-year-old niece, who normally doesn't like to talk me, suddenly became my new best friend. Haha XD


Our chalet was a stone's throw away from Pasir Ris Park, which seems to be very quiet compared to the East Coast.



We saw a rainbow after the rain! :)



But the beach was really appalling. NEA, do something! (n)



I had a great time cycling with my dad; it's the first time we've ever done so. He hadn't cycled for more than 10 years, and now he wants to go regularly! Haha XD


On Saturday evening, all the relatives were invited to the chalet:
